Qinhuangdao Oilport mainly relies on the four operational berths of The first stevedoring company of Qinhuangdao port Authority for handling operation, including two 20000-ton berths, one 50000-ton berth and one 5000-ton berth, with an annual cargo handling capacity of 15.4 million tons. The berths are able to undertake handling operation of 2000-60000 ton liquified bulk cargo carriers and the land-and-water transit and storage of more than 10 kinds of bulk liquid cargo, including crude, gasoline, diesel, calcium phosphate, jet fuel, naphtha, heavy oil, ethylene dichloride and methanol.

At the port there exist the storage tanks for petrochemical products of a number of companies like The first stevedoring company of Qinhuangdao port Authority, Dongfang Petrochemical Co.ltd., Yonghui Petrochemical Co. ltd., which have a total volume of more than 600000 m3. 10 km away are CNPC's crude oil storage tanks of 700000 m3 and the loading bridges for railway wagons.
